The Redmi K20 Pro was among the first few phones in the world to get the Android 10 update and it later received the MIUI 11 update that introduced more features to the device.
Later, Xiaomi rolled it out for the Redmi K20 but the Android 10 update has largely been limited to the flagship devices from the company.
However, in a rare event, Xiaomi may start updating its most affordable Redmi 8 series phone before the other models. A recent Geekbench listing suggests that the Redmi 8A is soon getting the Android 10 update. The listing reveals that the Chinese variant of the Redmi 8A is undergoing testing for the Android 10 build and if everything goes alright, the Redmi 8A could soon start getting the stable release of Android 10 across all units.
Do note that the listing specifically mentions that the Android 10 update is only meant for the Chinese variant of the device.
